Jason Schickedanz

Jason-Schickedanz

It seemed like an innocent comment: “Hey Jacques, let me know if you every want to open a restaurant together….” – the rest they say, is history; and so began Jason Schickedanz’s entry into the restaurant industry. Having grown up on a farm/ranch and currently owning a farm in the Texas Panhandle, Jason is no stranger to the food industry; however, his experience had been limited primarily to the production side of the food industry, as opposed to the service and retail side.

Since graduating from Texas A&M University with Bachelors and Masters degrees, Jason has developed a keen insight into investing and growing businesses. Jason’s first foray into business ownership began in 2004 when he and a partner founded AgForce, Inc. – a government consulting firm. AgForce has been recognized as a recipient of the prestigious Aggie 100 awards in 2009, 2010, and 2011 – honoring the fastest growing Aggie owned businesses in the world.

The success of AgForce has allowed Jason to venture into other businesses that he has either purchased or founded; such as Perryton Aviation, Inc., which has been listed number two on the Aggie 100 with a compounded growth interest rate of over 190%. In addition to Artisans Restaurant, Jason is also involved with the Denis Brothers at Foody’s Gourmet in west Houston. Today, Jason’s business interests expand many different industries including: government consulting, production agriculture, agricultural sales, aviation services, insurance, real estate, restaurant, and the petroleum industries.
